Hi! I'm Laura. I am Gig's owner and primary trainer. And a terrible blond, thus the reason I dye my hair... I had wanted horses all my life, but it wasn't until I acquired Gigi, Zorro, and Kiya in 2019 that my dream was fulfilled. And what a dream it continues to be! Who would have thought that I would end up with Dancing Gigi. Gigi is so bonded to me that I can almost think of a dance move and she will execute it! The fact that we are dancing is hilarious. If you have seen us in action, you will be aware that I CAN'T DANCE! Please don't hold that against the horse...

I have been living with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable cancer, since 2016. My Faith, Gigi and my other critters, and my close friends are the reason I am still alive and kicking. And I have had the rare privilege to help others overcome their challenges by engaging them with these horses. They are truly healing creatures.

Hi! I'm Rachel! I was supposed to be the star in this photo, but Gigi nosed me out, camera hog that she is! We won't hold that against her, will we? She looks pretty cute here!

I grew up with horses, and I jumped at the chance to bring my teenage daughter who had not experienced horses and work with Laura and her minis. It has been fun, And challenging sometimes. And so rewarding!

Nope, I can't dance either...

Hi, I'm Jennifer. I am better at stealing the spotlight from Gigi than Rachel is! But anyway. I originally met Laura when I joined her a cappella group. While singing, I discovered that Laura had mini horses and was needing weekend volunteers to help with tending and training them. I started that "temporary" job three years ago, and I am still doing this today! I never knew how intelligent and wonderful horses are until I started working with them and helping train them. And I have realized that they are helping me through tough times in my own life.

Unlike Laura and Rachel, I CAN DANCE! At least when compared to them!

Hi, I'm Sydney! I'm Rachel's daughter, and I have learned so many things from working with these miniature horses. They are such amazing creatures. This little guy here is Zorro. He's my boy! He might be pretty tiny, but he does run the herd.

I CAN DANCE! Although I never thought that all those years of dance lessons would result in me dancing with a horse! Not complainin'...just sayin'...

Hey, I'm Kaitlyn! I've always been an animal person, and these babes are the loves of my life. They may be more talented than me, but I have better hair, with the exception of Zorro who can flip his mane better than I can flip mine! Gigi is my special one. If you look carefully, you will see that Laura shaved "KAT" onto her rump here and I have GiGi on mine. Now there's a graduation pic worth remembering!

And I CAN DANCE. I hope y'all have as much fun watching these babes as I have working with them.

This is Zorro. He is a 14 year old gelding. But, he still thinks he is a stallion. His whole body is actually in this photo! He is a protective horse and retrieves better than most dogs. Zorro is the smallest member of the herd here, and a sweetheart.

And this is Kiya. She just turned 3 years old. She is a goofball, and depending on the seasons of the year, she is either a blue roan blanket Appaloosa or a Leopard Appaloosa. She is the largest of the three horses. She can be a total love bug. She also retrieves.
